I am starting off the year 2012 with participation in a group show at TNC gallery that stretches from January 10th to February 26th.
There will be several of my shopping mall / wreck paintings at the exhibition "Double Reverse" curated by Seamus Liam O'Brien.

Chris has work in two local New York City Exhibitions:
The first of which is his participation in the second annual 5th Avenue Store-front Art Walk in Bayridge, Brooklyn. Twenty artists have installed artwork in 5th Avenue store-fronts for a month-long walking art show. Last year Chris painted three life-size neon palm trees into a clothing boutique window. This year he has installed a brightly colored tableau of cats, dogs and an Egyptian falcon into the window of the Bayridge Animal Hospital. The 15 foot long installation is on display until June 13th and the opening party will be held on the evening of Sat. May 21. See the 5th Avenue SAW website for details.
Chris will also have a painting installed at the Arts@Renaissance space in north Brooklyn for the Bushwick Open Studios from June 3rd-5th. The show is a collection of work from the humble but talented artist teachers of the Joan Mitchell Foundation.
Chris will also be present in the neighborhood for the giant Bushwick Open Studios and will be opening his studio on request. It is situated in the heart of the events so email or call to come by for the weekend.
